Erectile dysfunction medicines seized in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medications have actually been taken by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was interviewed by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications through the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its workplace, Peter Moore, said: "It is crucial that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be dangerous.
"These kinds of items being sold, usually online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no assurance about their security.
"You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the result drugs like this might have on your health."
